Concrete (not metal) coping typical of bowls and pools. Rougher, slows the grind down.
Extended definition
Pool coping is the "authentic" feel of original bowl skating (the Z-Boys skated empty pools with their concrete coping). It gives a different grind: more friction, more sound.
