Riser
Also known as: Riser pad
A plastic/urethane pad between the deck and the truck. Raises ride height so the wheel can't touch the board.
Extended definition
Recommended if you run 56mm wheels or bigger. Typical sizes: 1/8″ (3mm) and 1/4″ (6mm). A set costs under €5 and prevents dumb falls from wheelbite.
