Scorpion

Also known as: scorpion fall

A fall where you land chest-first and momentum arches your legs up toward your head, like a scorpion.

Extended definition

The scorpion is one of the most recognizable (and painful) slams in skating: you lose the board forward, land chest-first sliding, and your body arches with your legs flipping up behind you almost to your head — a scorpion's pose. It's classic viral fail content and a solid reminder of why pads matter and why learning to bail matters more.
