Shape
Also known as: deck shape, board shape
The form of the deck: silhouette, nose and tail width, outline and concave.
Extended definition
Shape is how the board is cut, not just how wide it is. The symmetrical popsicle dominates street, but there are "shaped" decks (asymmetrical, old school, pool) with different noses and tails that change the feel and what the board is for. Along with concave, shape is what most defines a deck's character — and a big buying argument.
